Weyburn Massage Therapist Mike Johnston RMT

I've been in full-time clinical practice as a Registered Massage Therapist in Weyburn for over 15 years. My combined backgrounds in kinesiology, exercise science, strength and conditioning, and massage therapy allow me to look at your problem from more than one angle — considering not just where it hurts, but how your body moves and why the problem developed in the first place.

Whether you're an athlete, a tradesperson, or someone who's simply been dealing with pain longer than you should have to, that's the approach I bring to every treatment.

TREATMENT APPROACH

Every treatment starts with a conversation. I want to understand not just what hurts, but what you're trying to get back to — whether that's a full training schedule at the gym, a full day of working on the farm without pain, or simply sleeping through the night. From there I build a treatment plan around your specific situation, adjusting as we go based on how your body responds. The goal is always the same — to get you back to doing what matters to you, as quickly and completely as possible.

COMMUNITY IS IMPORTANT

I chose to build my practice in Weyburn because this is where my family is, and because there's something about practicing in a smaller community that suits the kind of work I do. I get to know my patients over time — their history, their work, what their body has been through. That continuity matters. It's a genuine privilege to serve this community and I don't take it for granted.

WHO I WORK WITH

I see a wide range of patients — athletes managing sports injuries, working adults dealing with everyday pain, and people with persistent or complex problems that haven't responded to previous treatment. Some of my most rewarding work happens with patients who've simply been told to live with it. Truck drivers with sciatic pain, nurses with plantar fasciitis, administrators with chronic neck tension — these are the people I think about when I talk about why this work matters.
